April 2022 – Spring Pack Campout

“And at the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair messy and your eyes sparkling.” What We Did Our families camped in Moraine State Park! We setup camp on Friday night (after 5PM), spent the day enjoying Moraine State Park on Saturday, and we broke camp by on Sunday morning. April 2022 – Arrow of Light & Cross Over Ceremony

March 2022 – Pinewood Derby

February 2022 – Snow Tubing!

Just went snow tubing for the first timeI liked it until I got on the tube. It was all downhill from there. How do I request an immunization exemption?

Documented medical conditions that prevent safe administration of immunizations can be documented on the Annual Health and Medical Record. You may also request an exemption using this request: Immunization Exemption Request. The Immunization Exemption request will typically not impact the individual’s ability to participate in Den and Pack activities.  However, the individual requesting an exemption may be prohibited from participating in some Council or other activities considered higher risk. How do I complete the BSA Health Form?

We work hard to keep our Scouts and other program participants safe during our events, but sometimes injuries happen.  Scouts are required to complete an Annual Health & Medical Form every year so that our Leaders have the information and authorization they need to address any health issues that may arise. Where can I find the date of my Scout’s latest BSA Health Form?

The effective date for your Scout’s latest BSA Health Form is tracked in Scoutbook: Navigate to Scoutbook. Click on your My Dashboard. Click on your Scout’s Name under Administration. (You may need to click on Administration to show your Scout.) Scroll down your Scout’s profile and click on Edit Profile (It will appear below the “Awards” section). You will find the date of your Scout’s health form in the field titled Annual Health Record A/B Date. February 2022 – Scout Sunday 2022

Scout Sunday is a day where we celebrate the founding of the Boy Scouts of America. We celebrate this occasion with our Charter Organization, The Zelienople English Lutheran Church, who provides the resources necessary for Pack 457’s existence. They have chartered our Pack and the Scouts BSA Troop since 1940. This is a day each year to say thank you and give back to them. Scout Sunday is not about your religious faith. Scouts do not need to be Lutheran to attend this service. What We Did Our members joined with Scouts from Troop 457 to participate in the 9:45

January 2022 – Take Me Out to the Board Game

Take me out to the board game, Take me out with my Pack; Be it Sorry, or Life or Uno Attack, I don’t care if I never get back. Let me root, root, root for the whole team, If they don’t win, it’s a shame. For it’s one, two, three games or more, At the old board game! What We Did We had an evening of fun as playing our Scout’s favorite indoor games.
